Group sessions are designed so that all attending can benefit from their time in class and be able to take away their learning experience to enable individual practice away from the class environment, whether alone or with other members of the group. Members of a group are encouraged to practice when away from class and return with their skills to share with others. Group sessions are dynamic environments that begin with introduction to Qi Gong, energy work, that enables students to build confidence with their practice both in the group and individually. As students progress they are introduced to the movements, techniques and philosophy of Tai Chi. This, like Qi Gong studies, is a gradual process of learning, there is no 'fast track' to gaining experience and expanding knowledge through regular practice. The number of individuals in any group can vary, so that small groups of like minded individuals and larger groups at community centers, health clubs and gyms can benefit from the study of these arts. Members of groups have a variety of reasons for joining group classes. These range from enhancing existing fitness programs, managing a recurring illness, stress reduction and management or a combination of these plus many more motives. Groups sessions can be arranged for students representing an assembly of many ages or be focused on catering for specific age or specialist groups. Groups catered for are seniors, K-12 students, community wellness groups, public service agencies, businesses and business groups, and many other interested groups that wish to take advantage of the benefits of regular Tai Chi Qi Gong practice.
